The Last Drink

This was one of the first photographs I shot in Northwest Arkansas. I do not even remember the location, but it is one of my favorites.

In 2013, Devious Design moved to Springdale, Arkansas. We actually live in Tontitown, Arkansas in a home we call affectionally Mount Jackass Plantation. The purpose of the move was to found our substance abuse and mental health private practice, Sweet Emotions Counseling. What we found here was great food, wonderful people and a treasure trove of photo opportunities. When I am not a Sweet Emotions, practicing art therapy with interesting clients, I am usually working in my gardens, or out of the road photographing the countryside. Northwest Arkansas: What a wonderful place to call home.

Waiting for Mama

her broken femur required three surgeries, and finally a hip replacement. our trusted great dane, Sketch Finster Davis,

is shown here waiting her return from the hospital.
